Cisco IOS 11.3(3a) : QoS connection problem?

Hello,

I am testing a native ATM application that uses fore's service provider. I
am using two LS1010 switches. Here is what happens :

The first switch has IOS 11.2(10). The second switch has IOS 11.3(3a). A CBR
connection can be made from second switch to the first. From the first
switch to the second, the same CBR connection fails with code #49 -
unsupported combination of traffic parameters.

I upgraded the first switch to IOS 11.3(3a), so both switches have the same
software. Now, a CBR connection fails in BOTH directions.... (with the same
message - #49)

What is next? Start to "downgrade" our switches in order to have QoS
connections?

Does anybody know what is happening here? Any hint would be valuable....

Thank you in advance,
