I don't know much about SRTS either, but... What AAL are you running? AAL-1? AAL-5? When you say "framing errors" what exactly does that mean? CRC errors at the AAL? DS-3 physical layer errors? In any case, I have my doubts about this. If you get errors on a link, fix the transmission problem that caused it. If you get it only in one direction, you may have a weak transmitter or a weak (insensitive) receiver. If there are two antennas, one for each direction, one may be aimed wrong. (If the two directions share a single antenna that wouldn't apply.) There may be problems with the cabling, or connectors. Etc. Try testing the setup with a DS-3 link tester; run a bit error rate test. If that shows problems, that's what you have to fix -- and if so the solution has nothing to do with ATM. paul -- !----------------------------------------------------------------------- !
