Hi all,

I'd like to measure the bandwidth utilisation of an E1 link that runs
from our DSLAM to an access device. The E1 link carries ATM traffic. How
can we measure the data traffic? The cell rate that i see on the DSLAM
doesn;t seem to be giving a correct picture of the E1 link
utilisation.
We configured MRTG to monitor the Bandwidth utilisation of teh E1 link
, we monitored the data rate at ATM layer and we got that the link is
underutilised but in practice the link was choked as we were facing
packet drops from the computers connected to the DSLAM ports.

Kindly suggest a method. The DSLAM does not implement support for
monitoring data rate at E1 interface.
