I did not get much of a response when I previously sent out the
enclosed message on the ion and frs-mib mailing lists, so I am
resending it to the snmp mailing list as well. Please respond (just
to me!) with any RFC 1315 experience you can provide, and I'll compile
the replies (see below for more details).

Thanks,
Andy

Subject: RFC 1315 (Frame Relay DTE MIB) implementation experience

As part of cleaning up some outstanding actions from the old iplpdn
working group, it is very overdue for RFC 1315, Management Information
Base for Frame Relay DTEs, to be advanced from Proposed to Draft
Standard on the IETF standards track (this MIB is in many ways the DTE
counterpoint to the FR Service MIB found in RFC 1604 and FRF.6).

Consequently, I'd like to ask that anyone who has an implementation of
RFC 1315 provide the following information.

Please send responses directly to me (not the lists) and I'll
summarize. If you have such an implementation, but would like the
details to be kept confidential, please note this on your response.

If you know of anyone who has such an implementation but may not have
received this note, please forward it.

1) Product Name:
2) Agent or manager implementation?
3) Are all of the groups implemented?
3) If No in (2), why not (e.g. not applicable, no demand, ...) ?
4) Anything else not implemented?
5) Name(s) of other products (e.g. if an agent, manager applications,
or vice versa) it has been successfully used with.
6) Are you willing to have this information publicly disclosed?
7) Any other comments on functionality, difficulties, etc.

Thanks,
Andy
