Yet another multicast scalability problem

I've listened to a lot of strange statements from Mr. Ohta, but after this
one I can no longer keep quiet.

What sort of nonsense is this?

It is quite mind-boggling that someone would make the statement
that control over loss probability is not useful for any protocol.
Such a statement is patently absurd.

The most that could reasonably be said is that control of loss probability
is not as critical for a particular protocol.  But all protocols benefit from 
low
loss channels.
