Werner,

It is an interim solution with serious drawbacks.  You are also asking
for unspecified changes to HTTP or HTML and other protocols.  As such
I don't think the IETF IP/ATM WG should endorse an interim of this
type solution with unsolved problems by advancing it as a WG item.
