MPLS or MPL(ambda)S Performance Metrics

Dear fellows on the list,


     Could any one tell me what is the performance metrics of MPLS or MPL(ambda)S network? Throughput? Delay? Blocking Probability? or gurranted bandwidth?

     There are some people working on label assigning behavior modeling and try to find out the relationship between label and flow resource for the network.

     I am wondering besides the benefit of traffic engineering and fast transit packet forwarding that MPLS allowed, what the exact network behavior and its performance metrics (or parameters) and the related modeling is for MPLS or MPL(ambda) network? What is the thing that people most care about this kind of network?

     At the present time, implementation seems more rapid than analysis  . However, I believe that some of you must know the answer that I want. Please help me to find out it. Thank you very much!
