hope this will make you clear:
LDP is running as an application which uses port number 646 . Once LSPs
(for all NHLFEs) are formed for all possible FECs using LDP, MPLS dataplane
will only use these databases (FTN, NHLFE and ILMs), which is at layer 2.5.
