Guys,

Quick question - does Cisco support layer-2 mpls vpns ? I know that EoMPLS
is supported on the 7600 (draft-martini-l2circuit-trans-mpls-07,txt;
draft-martini-l2circuit-encap-mpls-03.txt), but do any of their other
platforms support layer2 vpns (eg. GSRs) ? If not, anybody know when layer-2
vpns will be supported ?

I know that as of Junos 5.1 layer2 vpn functionality is supported
(draft-kompella-ppvpn-l2vpn-00.txt). ATM, FR, PPP, Ethernet, and PPP are
supported by Juniper - any likelihood of support for these encaps by Cisco
in the (near) future ?

Thanks in advance,

Mark
