Hello Mr. Robert,

Thanks for the suggestions. Actually i think i have put across the scenario a bit wrongly, The customer is only promised a set of SLA's that permit him to use only a single Internet gateway, & no other redundancy for Internet access, & that's why he does not get across any other P routers in the core, & directly gets off the PE from the LAN.

I have been able to solve the problem, & found an interesting article on the Cisco website which illustrates different ways of getting across this problem. But what i had done was just increased the Tunnel MTU size from its default to 1500 bytes, as per your advise, & access to all such web sites started working fine.
