The alternatives I know of: Static routing. OR Use autoroute and the tunnel will carry all traffic to destinations near its endpoint. OR Use Policy Based Routing. Note that PBR only "sees" IP packets, not MPLS frames, so you have to use it on a PE router. Thought: one might use BGP and route maps to set the next hop for selected destinations to a special loopback on the exit router. Then static route to the special loopback via the TE tunnel.
