Thanks for the responses
regarding market acceptance of MPLS.
Have another quick follow-up: Would
folks have pointers to a list of SP's
providing managed IP VPN services (with or
without the use of MPLS)? Or can one assume
that all/most IP VPN providers are using/deploying
MPLS?

We try to maintain an unofficial list of carriers in the MPLS FAQ, see
www.mplsrc.com/mplsfaq.shtml

What you are asking for is pretty broad though, you can search through the
latest listings on the "MPLS News" section of the front page of the
resource center, otherwise I'd suggest contacting the MPLS Forum.

The other resource you might want to investigate are research and analyst
firms. The company I work for, Burton Group, is getting ready to release
an updated report on MPLS which includes a lot of the info you are looking
for. However our reports are only available to our subscribers, you can
get more info at www.burtongroup.com. If you've got $1,000 burning a hole
in your pocket, you can download Yankee Group's report on MPLS from
Amazon.com - search on the term "MPLS" and you'll find it.
