MPLS over DPT

Hi
1.How MPLS works over DPT (SRP) rings.
I assume MPLS requires p2p connection.
How is it supposed to work over broadcast media such as DPT ring?
How LDP neighbour descovery is done?
Can I simulate hub-and-spoke on DPT ring, making all LSR on the ring be 
adjacent only to  hub LSR?

2. What are pros and cons for deploying MPLS over DPT ring versus
mpls on ring connected thu POS lines?
