Hello,

I have a question which I hope you can help me with.
I wasn't able to find an answer on the faq.

I read the following in an article:

Cell-switched MPLS uses downstream-on-demand and
conservative label-retention.
Frame-switched MPLS uses unsolicited-downstream and
liberal-retention.

Why is there this difference ?

Thanks a lot for any help you can give
Cheers Chris
