Hi,

I am curious if anyone had any field deployment experiences trying to utilize E-LSP vs L-LSP to guarantee bandwidth in the L2,L3 mpls vpn.

With L-LSP you would have to manage/create a lot of LSPs.

With E-LSP you’d have to properly setup the exp-bit throughout your network, wouldn’t that be painful, and doesn’t seem to scale nicely.

Also from Networld+Interop, people (vendors) seem to indicate they will be doing L-LSP for L2-VPNs.

If someone is to offer managed L2,L3 services, wouldn’t it then be better to pick L-LSP then?

            Any comments?

            Joe
