Is it possible to connect 2 CEs off the same PE using l2-martini?

Hi,

 

            All the sample configurations for l2-martini shows connections between 2 CEs that are off 2 different PEs. 

 

 

        CE --  PE – PE -- CE

 

Is it possible to use l2-martini to connect 2 CEs that hangs off the same PE?
