I'm not sure I understand the question or the response.  Where's the need for martini in this configuration? 
 
To me, the question sounds like "Can a PE switch an L2 frame from one port to another?" and the answer is "Yes, my box can, using draft-martini".  Am I missing something?

Absolutely (at least with our implementation).  There's nothing in the protocol definition to prevent it.
