For Ethernet based services I would use:
   - Martini for point to point services.
   - Lasserre-vKompella VPLS for multipoint services.

For ATM, FR, PPP based services I would use:
   - Kompella. It is more flexible and powerful than only Martini for 
provisioning. On the other hand, yes, it is a bit more complicated to 
configure (ranges, ...)
