For VPLS consider draft-kompella-ppvpn-vpls-01.txt, as it specifies not just signaling, but autodiscovery/provisioning as well. And, by the way, it is build upon the same mechanisms as used by L2-Kompella (draft-kompella-ppvpn-l2vpn-02.txt). Yakov. P.S. Lasserre-vKompella seems to be fairly silent on the issue of autodiscovery for VPLS - the only place where autodiscovery is mentioned is the Reference section (it contains pointers to both DNS and BGP as autodiscovery mechanisms). > > ----- Mensaje Original ----- > Remitente: "Joe Lin" <jlin@doradosoftware.com> > Fecha: Viernes, Noviembre 15, 2002 8:36 pm > Asunto: RE: [MPLS-OPS]: MPLS/VPLS Vendors > > > From the various conversation I have gathered in the past with > > differentpeople. > > > > L2-Kompella is more complicated to implement than l2-martini. > > > > Cisco is aligned with martini, you can't be wrong if you side with > > cisco. > > > > The choices has nothing to do with what draft is superior... > > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: alok [mailto:alok.dube@apara.com] > > Sent: Friday, November 15, 2002 11:07 AM > > To: Abe B.
