DiffServ classification + FTN

Hello Guys
 
I have a question. I'm trying to combine diff-serv classification with MPLS label forwarding
to have an edge LSR which does diff-serv job on the edge and then sends MPLS packets
 
Do you know if this subject was ever discussed on this list. If so please let me know
If not .... I have loads of questions
 
For example
While doing Multi-Field classification of IP packets would that be handy to
have the classification table and FTN table combined together. When a IP packet
falls a to specific BA category there is already a NHLFE entry with Label for LSP to be used.
IS this feasible or should I go back study RFCs
 
I'd appreciate any help
