Friends,

On the cisco 7500 series routers with 1GB RAM and the RSP-16, what is the maximum observed number for number of Multiprotocol-BGP routes?

Can one also share the number of VRFs and the number of routes per VRF on the same?

Similarly on the 7500, the white paper says that :
"In a dual RSP configuration, the Cisco 7500 will give the user the ability to double packet memory and increase aggregate switching performance. "

Has anyone got Dual RSP working somewhere?
Morover, do both RSPs function for "route lookups" simultaneously or is it one at a time?

Can a user plug away the RSPs and switching will still happen?

In other words, does each VIP/CEF database have the copy of the entire "forwarding table"?
