Hi Abhishek,

 

If these routers were bought directly from Cisco, then I would advise you to contact Cisco TAC and get your questions answered straight from the horse's mouth :-)

If not, and this is a small network for academic purposes , then I would suggest you to go with the latest 12.3T image. If you have encryption running on your network as well, then you could pick a -adventerprisek9- image from 12.3T (Notice the nomenclature of Cisco images has been changed from is/js/.. to ipbase/entbase/..)

 

Since I have little insight into the purpose, size and the type of the network that you are trying to set up, I cannot guarantee that I have give you the best suggestion. But, like I said, you should contact Cisco TAC if you can, and make use of the support that you have paid for..:-)

We are in process to deploy MPLS in our Network.

As of now we are using OSPF as a IGP and BGP as a EGP in our network.We have already design the network for MPLS backbone.

In addition to this we have upgraded our Cisco-Router Hardware also.

As of now we have 7513 , 3660 Series router with 256 MB DRAM + RSP4 in 7513 Router and 256 MB DRAM in 3660 router.

 

Now the concern is , we need to upgrade IOS which should MPLS enable.Can you suggest us the reliable MPLS enabled CISCO-IOS for 7513 and 3660 series router.

 

3660 Router will be used a s a PE router and 7513 will be used for P routre.

 

As of now we have 

For CISCO 7513 Router :

8192K bytes of Flash internal SIMM (Sector size 256K).         

 

For CISCO 3660 Router :

 

ROM: System Bootstrap, Version 12.0(6r)T, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

 

IOS Version : <c3660-ik8s-mz.122-3.bin>

 

16384K bytes of processor board System flash (Read/Write)

Can any one suggest us the reliable and suitable IOS image as well as Boot Strap Image for both the series router.
