Certainly. But having an Ethernet interface towards the customer
doesn't mean that your whole network is Ethernet - it could be
a pure bridged ATM network if that's what you prefer :-)

Ethernet interfaces are very popular for customers here in Norway
too - but again, your core network could be completely different.
