Thank you for this input but per-packet load balancing is not what I want to do. Per-packet load balancing ignores the bandwidth that has been allocated to the LSPs. I have tested this and found it to be so.

The documentation I have states that there is an alternative which load balances in proportion to the bandwidths allocated to the LSPs. This is what I want but I am unable to determine how to switch this on. 

Any further suggestions most welcome.
