Problem in connectivity using MPLS

Connectivity as follows...


 CE (Central office) -- GRE -----> VRF (PE)----P------P--------PE------CE
(Branch)

With MPLS enabled on all PE's & P the Branch to CO connectivity is through
in terms of reachability but the customer applications (Mail & SAP) are not
working.

Is this some thing to do with MTU size ?
