Hi, The main motivation for implementing MPLS TE is more on optimization of available bandwidth than the lack of it.Well I do not know of many networks, there is a little bit of activity in the form of some testing in happening in my network. As soon as you setup an Engineered path by way of a MPLS TE tunnel all you MPLS VPN traffic would prefer the TE tunnel. Im not too sure of the reoptimization feature you have mentioned. Thanks and Regards, Sunil Menon.
