We have set up a test bed of Linux boxes for implementing MPLS.  This was successful and we have our LSPs set on it.

We are now testing the tunnel part.

We created a tunnel but when we try to delete the tunnel interface it would not budge!
In respons to ifconfig the following details were show for the tunnel interface:

mpls0-00 :........(details of the interface shown).

I wanted to erase the complete tunnel setup.  I executed the following set of commands.

mplsadm2 -F
ifdown mpls0 (error)

then i tried

ifdown mpls0-00 (error)

how do I delete this tunnel interface?  The document does not talk about deletion of a tunnel interface.  Is there an sequence of commands to be followed to delete the tunnel interface?

Thanks in advance.
