This has been discussed several times on the list (have a look in the
archives), and there's really no need to restart the discussion. It
has been stated authoritatively, by people working for the vendors,
that any difference in forwarding speed is negligible. MPLS gives you
other, interesting and useful features - but increased forwarding
speed is not one of them.
