(typing this while perusing the archives)

I will toss in that I have achieved lower CPU utilization on 7507 VIPs
serving on a P router when a link begins using MPLS forwarding.  I was
too caught up in the upgrades at the time to have done any measurement
(scientific or otherwise) of forwarding speed though.
