 You can definitely do this. But there are some issues that you would need
to take care of;

1. security & how much can you trust the other provider.
2. labels on the eBGP session. What you are doing would probably be the
easiest: connecting using the routers that are ASBRs as well as the eBGP
speakers.

Hi ,

         Does anyone in the group have experience in interconnecting MPLS
networks ? Can they give some ideas or lead on this topic?

One idea I have is to interconnect Route-reflectors between the 2 MPLS
networks. These RR will work as ASBR and peer with each other via eBGP.
