Hi Robert,

There *will* be OSPF and RSVP, but only much later in the project. Right now
I would like to test LDP alone.

So I'm trying to get by with a simple test scenario using static IP routes,
etc.

The way I understand PW's, they consist of two things:
1) An attachment point. This is where the payload data enters and leaves the
PW.
2) An MPLS carrier. This would be a tunnel, through which the PW is
transported.

As far as I can tell, I've managed to configure item (1) above, but not item
(2).

On our end everything is fine. We just have the PW running over an
MPLS-enabled POS interface, i.e. the network data consists of *one* MPLS
label, because there is no MPLS tunnel. I can reconfigure our system to
transport the PW over an LSP, but this requires that I statically configure
the labels for the LSP, because we do not yet support signalling of tunnels.

Now, I just can't seem to find out how to configure static labels for the
tunnel on the Cisco router.

The only thing I'm trying to do is to verify that traffic may flow through
the PW.

I hope you're less confused now :-)

-Michael.
