Hi there,

I would like to ask everyone in this forum regarding application server
ruuning over MPLS VPN. From what I've seen and encountered before,
sensitive application server such as oracle, sap, lotus, sql, databases,
crm and etc are experiencing some slowness in terms of getting the
data/information and etc.

I understand this involved not only the SP level, but from CE side such
as servers, application fine tuning and etc needs to be consider also

However, basic ping/pathping/traceroute from CE-PE/PE-PE/P-P/CE-CE has
been done to prove that no packet drops, no mtu issues and etc. On the
L3 connectivity, so far so good. But when the real traffic pump
in..things become worst.

Since in SP level, the application of some QOS technique in PE,P routers
is being applied. Is there any BCP for SP in deadling with these
application server running over MPLS VPN? Do you guys did encounter any
diffuculties during the implentation in delivering services for this
type sensitive application? What are the method being used in order to
mitigate this issues?

Any ideas,recommendation,input are most welcome.

Thank you very much.

regards,

maher
