Hi,

If you are preparing for exam - I'd highly recommend reading materials (presentation) for "Implementing Cisco MPLS" course. It's in very easy readable and understandable format and gives most of required knowledge for passing exam. Second thing (as usually) is hands on experience.

Both books ("MPLS and VPN architectures" and "Advanced MPLS VPN design") are covered in course materials, "Definitive MPLS designs" should help you in implementing and planning real world situations, its good for exam too, but you should concentrate on theory topics, not practical examples, as practical part of exam is very, very easy.

Hope this helps,

Andris

There is a second revision to the "Volume I" (i.e. "MPLS and VPN
Architectures"), "MPLS and VPN Architectures, CCIP Edition". This one
is likely the direct reference for the exam.

I'm not sure how many of the other books are direct references to the
exam, but there's also an advanced MPLS book, an excellent boot on MPLS
TE (trust me, this is well worth the read), and a high-speed excellent
book "Definitive MPLS Network Designs". These are all excellent, but I
can't remember how many of them I'd read before taking the exam.
