joel,

i'm not proposing the nbma arp draft for standardization.  it just
documents a simple experimental protocol that we hope to get implemented
soon.  there exists losts of nice things one could possibly need, but
they are not there on purpose, since we are only documenting here things
that we believe need to be in a minimal implementation.  once practical
experience has been achieved, a new version can be created that includes
useful missing stuff.  on the other hand, while this simple version is
being implemented, i assume that rolc keeps on working on the final
solution whatever that may turn out to be.
