The text of your failed mail message follows:
Fred Baker has asked that ION become the new home of the Frame Relay
DTE MIB (which certainly fits in to the charter), and has asked for a
Working Group Last Call in preparation for advancing the MIB from
Proposed Standard to Draft Standard.
Since this work may be new to some of you, I can provide a bit of
history. The MIB was originally produced as RFC 1315 by the iplpdn
(IP over Large Public Data Networks) working group, as a companion to
RFC 1294 (which was later revised as RFC 1490), and is currently a
Proposed Standard.
Discussion and revision of the MIB has continued on the iplpdn list
(even though the working group disbanded some time ago), and the
result is the I-D announced below.
Although the iplpdn list has extensively discussed the MIB, I realize
that those of you not on the iplpdn list have not yet had a chance to
review it. As a result, we will have an extended WG Last Call period
to end on Friday June 21, so that we can forward it to the IESG in
person at Montreal :-).
I cc:ed the iplpdn list so that old iplpdn'ers not yet on the ion list
could see the Last Call announcement. Since it's about time that the
old iplpdn list was retired, I ask that discussion of the MIB be held
solely on the ion list; those of you reading this that are not yet on
the ion list should send a majordomo subscribe request to
ion-request@nexen.com.
Thanks,
Andy
