That's an Ipsilon's extreme approach.

In general, CSRs can seamlessly connect ANY ATM networks,
inside which LANE, ATMARP or, even, NHRP may be used.

That is, between CSRs, there MAY be legacy ATM switches (equivalent to
Ethernet bridges), which may be signalled with Q.2931.
